Humble Ethical Researchers (H.E.R) Co. started out of a need for change. Our goal is to use social science research to educate and implement solutions in underserved communities to improve:
- access to upward mobility within the workforce
- access to and awareness of important resources available within the community
- recourse for classist and discriminatory actions imposed on them within the workforce, healthcare system, or criminal justice system
We stand by our values.
We believe that by doing intentional and ethical research that focuses on these communities, we can inspire real change and come up with smart solutions for the social issues they face.
At H.E.R Co., we’re all about figuring out how to tackle the everyday problems that impact our neighbors dealing with socio-economic challenges. We use different research methods—like ethnographic, qualitative, and quantitative approaches—to understand and break down the barriers to upward mobility for everyone in these communities.
By connecting people with useful resources, supportive organizations, and involved advocates, we aim to help our neighbors move forward and thrive through community education, exchanges, and engagement.
